About Us - NADAVARAMBA
The very name “NADAVARAMBA” has been the identity of the shop since its inception in 1925 and will continue to be so. Nadavaramba is actually a place in Irinjalakuda town, Thrissur district. Our ancestral origin is from Nadavaramba and we have been into the manufacturing of brass, bell-metal & bronze products right from our ancestors and continuing strong in its 4th generation with god’s blessings. Nadavaramba Krishna Brothers is blessed to be located right in front of Thrissur’s famous Vadakkunnathan Temple where the famous Thrissur Pooram is held every year.
Why Us?
Nadavaramba Krishna Brothers has been functioning since 1925. We are proud to say that we are the oldest and active group having a manufacturing unit of its own. We are exclusively known for manufacturing Handmade utensils, lamps(nilavilakku), Deepasthambam, Statues(Idol) & other bell-metal, brass & bronze products. Bell Metal (Vellodu- purest form of bronze) is a high quality metal composed primarily of copper & tin. Customers have been coming to us ever since inception due to our excellent quality & customer service. These two things are what made Nadavaramba Krishna Brothers stand out from the rest of the lot. Our exclusive handmade products include Naadan lamps(Naadan Vilakku), Statues(Vigraham), Urli(Uruli), Cheenachatti, Appakkara, Seva Nazhi, Vengala Paana, Vanaai, etc. We also deal with Temple/Church works. These works include making of Golaka (brass,bronze & Panchaloham), Church Bells or even covering Kodimaram, Sopanam, Belikkallu, Door & Katla using Polished Lacquer coated Brass Sheet.

They have an amazing collection of brass items most of it being kerala vilakku and smaller idols of all Gods and Goddesses.. but i was looking for show pieces in pure brass and so found a little lesser collection.. Nevertheless their collection is unique and I got a few different vilakku for my home collection

We had a wonderful experience working with Mr. Arjun, owner/manager of NKB, on a complex and highly customized project. We commissioned a large, functional Kerala-style Varpu/Uruli, measuring 48 inches in diameter and weighing approximately 280 kilograms, with several decorative elements.
Given the scale and customization involved—and NKB’s primarily retail-focused portfolio—we initially had some reservations. However, Arjun showed strong technical understanding, and confidence from the outset. Our requirements and reference images were clearly discussed and agreed upon prior to commencement.
Communication throughout the project was clear and reassuring. The work was completed within the estimated four-month timeline, and final photographs reflect workmanship that meet our expectations. We are extremely pleased with the outcome and look forward to transporting the finished Varpu to our residence in Chicago.

The Brass artefacts are very nicely handcrafted with all minute details and of good quality. Their response on wp was satisfactory and what we see on photo is what we get exactly and delivered quickly to other states too.
